[scribus-dev] Is there a way to show the compiled build revision # for a dev build

Thanks for your efforts here. So what does the cmake code in
http://forums.scribus.net/index.php/topic,1154.msg5438.html#msg5438 do?
Ideally it would be awesome if there was a compile-time flag that we could
use to trigger it if so.

this needs to be run in the root of the local --HEAD scribus-dev dir, right?
