OK tried ./configure but no joy. Read the INSTALL
doc but it was the same old stuff. Tried
autoconf configure.ac
but no joy. Ran ./config.h.cmake but got error
messages about acrobat reader ???
Obviously there are tricks I don't know to compile
this program and the documentation is no help.
The online advice dates back to 2008.
Anyone care to lead me by the hand? I use
Slackware 14.1 but I also have a recent Ubuntu,
Windows 7, Suse etc.
The goal is to come up with a script that will
deliver an operational Inkscape 0.19 each
evening.
