scribus does not have a real background color for text.

i see some ways to implement it... one of them would to have a way to
get more information about the glyphs, like getting the coordinates on
the page for a specific glyph.

that way one could write a script which would go through a file and get
all the text which have a style "heading 1" and put a correctly sized
shape in the background. if the shapes are correctly "tagged" one could
first delete all those shapes before recreating them.

i wonder if it would be easy to add such a function to the script API...
