Dear list,

I recently compiled the latest version of the Scribus 1.5 branch. I noticed lots of improvements compared to the version I compiled a bit more than a year ago. This is really great :)

However one bigger issue still prevails. There seems to be quite a big delay between mouse actions such as selecting text and moving objects and their actual execution. This can be really frustrating, since you constantly have to 'wait' and let the program catch up. I described this issue a year ago with one other user confirming this; http://lists.scribus.info/pipermail/scribus/2014-June/050576.html. I have two computers running same version of Scribus both running Debian Jessie, and both having same issue. For short screen capture: http://template01.info/random/screebus.mp4

Should I file this as a bug?

All the best and lots of compliments!
