Installing can be a pain sometimes. For instance when you like to test different builds, an installer could ruin your settings. Also having a portable app (on USB) is sometimes preferred instead of an installed version per machine. A zip file can be helpful then. Also administration levels could prohibit installation.<br /><br /><br />
