IMHO you should never use double spaces to get a bigger space, instead use<br>
a wider space. (This is also more consistent with how TeX works.)<br>

That would be a good idea if I were using TeX. I do my composition in LibreOffice and my page layout in Scribus.<br></blockquote></div><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Scribus (and a far as I know also Libre Office) fully supports unicode, thus you can use EM SPACE for sentence spacing instead of two spaces.<br><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Or you can just forget my tips on how to remove extra spaces and be happy.
