Hi Scribus list,<br>
<br>
I just remembered that I should share with you those slides from LGM 2013:<br>
<br>
<a href="http://www.slideshare.net/xsetpointer/what-text-styles-could-learn-from-css" target="_blank">http://www.slideshare.net/xsetpointer/what-text-styles-could-learn-from-css</a></blockquote><div><br></div><div>Yes, thanks a lot! </div>
<blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><br>
<br>
For those who missed it: this short presentation is a "feature proposal",<br>
for a GUI change that would allow to edit style definitions in "code view".<br></blockquote><div><br></div><div>Even for those who were there, it’s great to have this at hand! </div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">
<br>
This would be very convenient for designers that are used to write CSS :)<br>
<br>
1) It would give a clear overview of what a given style does.<br>
2) It would allow to "undefine" the values.<br>
<br>
From what I heard during LGM, the developer team has discussed that topic,<br>
and it could be done at some point in the future.<br></blockquote><div><br></div><div>It’s well worth digging. ePubs are inescapable. It might be that in fact we start with the ePub and finish with the print. The conversion sheme would be from CSS to Stylesheets.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I am curious to hear others about that!</div><div><br></div><div>Louis </div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">
<br>
What do other Scribus users think of it? I'm very curious to hear your<br>
thoughts.<br>
<br>
Cheers,<br>
Manuel<br>
