(pre Quark, InDesign and Scribus) and inadvertently moved a folder containing
links, PM would warn upon opening that pictures (etc.) were missing, and, like
Scribus, would offer a way to point to the new location. Once there, PM would
announce it found other missing links there, too, and did I want to link them?
Wouldn't that be a nice feature in Scribus?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face="Franklin Gothic Book">At least perhaps if you're using a
piece of art (logo, etc) multiple times Scribus should recognize that
the file you pointed to is the one to use for all instances where they're
missing. I use a little logo as a dingbat and I have to search and relink
seven or eight times for my 8-page newsletter. I know the proper workflow
dictates linked files stay with the doc, but... If this is a feature
that has already been suggested, forgive my duplication.</FONT></DIV>
