I must be doing something stupid--

I create a document with 4 auto-text frames (4 columns) and
fill them with text.

I insert an image frame and put an image into it

I lower the text frames to the bottom

I raise the image frame to the top

Using the properties/shape/use contour line I flow the text
around the image

I insert a test frame under the image, and type a caption into
it

I flow the text around it (properties/shape/use contour
line)-- so far everything works!

Now I GROUP the image frame with the caption/text frame just
beneath it-- now the group no longer has text flowing around it,
but the test returns to be under the group. I played with the
levels, to make sure the group is above the text to be flowed,
but it did not fix it.

For creating figures with captions the ability to flow text around
groups would be great. Sadly, it seems to not work (yet?)

Thanks-- I noticed that the relevant buttons were grayed out in
1.3.8, but thought that there was some other way of doing it. Any
idea when 1.5 or 1.6 will be out?

If you are brave, know how to use subversion (and Linux), you can
have 1.5.0svn right now! Disclaimer: not a good idea to use this as
your main Scribus. Occasionally, bad things happen. You can always
load a file from an older version and play...
This might be a reason for even the inveterate Windows/Mac user to
look into setting up a virtual machine, running Linux, and adding
some fun to computing (for a change).

I am lucky enough to use Linux only, but for the rest of the world
(Mac and MSWin) is there a way to get at 1.5.0?
