Hi Irucka,

At least with 1.5.x versions of Scribus, PDF import seems to mostly work pretty well, using File > Import > Get Vector File. What this does is import the page as a grouped collection of vector objects. The downside is that text is imported as a series of vector objects, so you can't edit as text.
