Hi Thomas,
Unfortunately that file contains only null bytes which means the content is lost. There is
no possibility to recover any data from that file.
When a crash occurs while writing a file, it may mean the hard drive has some issue. It
may be worth to check your hard drive for errors and file system issues. If you are
running Windows, open Windows Explorer, right-click the drive you want to check, and then
choose “Properties". In the properties window, switch to the “Tools” tab and in "Error
Checking" section click the “Check” button. Depending on Windows version, the check button
may be named slightly differently (for eg, "Check now" on Windows 7).
Sometime this procedure can recover some lost data. But there is no guarantee.
Regards,
Jean
