The easy way: move frame A a bit, then click on
frame B and go to "image>levels and move Frame B
to the top. When finished reverse the process.
Move Frame B to the bottom and then move Frame a
back to its original position.  

Or you can just click on Frame A, move it to the
bottom of the stack with image>levels and when
finished with frame B move it to the bottom.
