yes, but in this case i will the the layout, and i would like to keep it, because the new document is just a derivated of the previous. In this case, ale's proposal would better match.

A pdf file is like an image. So you do not have access to words, etc. You
may try to convert your pdf to text. If the pdf file is not protected and do
not contain a jpg, etc., some software may convert it to text. You may try.

I'd need to import a whole PDF document and recreate scribus page from with
1 scribus page = 1 PDF page. I tried in python. 
I did did some test but couldn't find a way to oad a pdf as image and change
the page that will be displayed.

Does anyone have a workaround ?
