[scribus] trying to create weirdness with pasteObject()

To see what might happen with a command like pasteObject() all by
itself, I took the invisibleImages.py script and commented out the lines
using copyObject() and deleteObject().

If you run it on a file with nothing selected, nothing happens, i.e.,
you do create an empty Ghostlayer.
If you run it with some object selected, nothing happens.
If you run it with some object selected, after pressing Ctrl+C,
weirdness can happen. I had a 26 page presentation and selected an
object on page 1 (happened to be a text frame), pressed Ctrl+C, then ran
the script. On page 21, the object was pasted on Ghostlayer!

Clicking Undo 4 times caused the object to disappear, the 5th time,
Ghostlayer disappeared! Interesting, and in a way cool.

So yes, weird things can happen, but not catastrophic it seems.

I think there are far greater dangers from Scripter than this.
