No, I thought it was pretty cool.
As far as the issues related to coated vs uncoated papers, I would think
that many would not know what sort of paper they were going to use until
they take their job to the printer.

It also seems that whenever you're using some proprietary spot color you
would be discussing this with your printer so you truly get what you
were wanting. The more experienced are probably going to have no
problems on their own.
