Greg, just for your information: she has wrote before that she is copy
pasting the text into Scribus...

Wena, please follow step by step what Greg is telling you above. This
will show you the "supported" way to get text from Libre Office / Open
Office into Scribus

P.S.: maybe, one day, Scribus will support copy / pasting formatted
text into it... but it'a harder task to get it to work correctly on
multiple platforms.
