Unfortunately, nothing on that list really jumps out and screams "The Missing
Link!"

I don't know enough about QT programming to know what library is missing on my
computers.  (The tiny bit of gui programming that I've done has been targeted at
GTK, since I play with C and not C++.)

Does anyone know what library QT uses to create a drop-down scrollable list
box like the one that's used by the Scribus font selector?
