Conventional wisdom has it that a serif font "draws the eye on" making 
it easier to read.  Sans Serif fonts should be used only for headings 
and other places where you want/need a contrast.  This isn't the place, 
really, to discuss the issue in detail, but it doesn't hurt to mention 
it in passing.
