[scribus] How to Index published material?

Hi All

Related question.....

I have approx 3000 A4 pages of text, with images, that I have published 
for my Group. Some is in .odt format while all the recent stuff is done 
in Scribus so I have it in .sla and .pdf.

What would be the best way to create an Index of this material?

I would be happy, (may even prefer), a "Drag 'n Drop" method between two 
windows. But am open to any suggestions.
