Moi aussi, except I went from Ubuntu to Fedora a year ago. When 1.3.9
did not appear in the repositories soon enough for me I found that it
was in updates-testing repository. So I just did "yum
--enablerepo=updates-testing install scribus" and it enabled the
updates-testing repository just for getting and installing the 1.3.9 RPM
package. Most new releases go immediately into updates-testing, so I
can grab things right away if I am not concerned about waiting for
Fedora's seal of approval.
