[scribus] Scripter newDocument margins (left, right, top, bottom) interpreted as (inside, output, top, bottom) for page spreads?

In the Scripter API documentation
http://docs.scribus.net/index.php?lang=en&page=scripterapi-doc
the "margins" tuple passed to the newDocument function is described as being in the form "(left, right, top, bottom)".
I assume however when the "pagesType" is set to PAGE_2 (meaning, double-sided) then this tuple is interpreted as "(inside, output, top, bottom)", with the margins mirrored on a page-spread.
Am I correct?
Thanks,
