Could you point me to a compiled version of 1.3.5 for Linux? My comedy 
of errors on Debian testing is getting embarrassing.  

If you have a recent Linux version that runs somewhere on some machine 
then I can test it and start patching in the missing libraries etc. 
based on error messages.
