Ok, let me put this somewhat clearer.

When I have an odt text with some paragraph styles such as "Standard",
"Header 1", "Header 2" and so on, all I'd like to do is to have these
styles replaced by their Scribus counterparts:

Scribus has a number of paragraph styles named exactly like those in the
odt. Now, Scribus finds a paragraph "Header 1", imports its text and
replaces the text's "Header 1" style by its own version of "Header 1".
If it comes to a paragraph having a style it doesn't know, it imports
this style just the same way it does now.

Maybe I just oversee this option, although I believe I've tried every
and each combination of the 4 options for standard import.

The text filter function won't do the job because it just handles plain
UTF-8 texts. I'd combine this with a script preparing the text for
import, but it's a bit roundabout. A clean import/replace of paragraph
styles would be more elegant.

Any idea?

Rolf
