I don't really see why anyone (except the software evangelists) should even care what OS people are using, their market share, etc. Again, I cannot see any reason to worry about what "market share" is enjoyed by Scribus.  Of course, there is some satisfaction for the developers when they can see that lots of people are using it successfully, and it helps in the development when there are many providing comments and suggestions to improve the product. However, I am just grateful that it is there and that, so far in a short period of time, I have been able to learn how to use it to successfully produce documents. I especially appreciate the way that images and text positions in a document don't get all messed up whenever I make a change (such as adding a page) as they do in OO (and Word, though I haven't used that now for years). I have had a steep learning curve, and there are lots of things that can be improved, but generally, I am very happy with the
 package (1.3.3.12 Stable) and look forward to the improvements that have been discussed when they become available in the Ubuntu depositories.
