Hi,
I'm using Scribus 1.3.4, on Slackware Linux 12.0 and have a problem with
loading of a file.
I've created recently a document of about 30 pages, with many images in it and
I was working working without issues on it.
Today, I tried to reopen the file and this seems to hang completely Scribus, I
need to kill it. I retried several times, sometimes it works and most of the
time it doesn't.
I tried once from Windows version and it openned the file correctly, so I
don't think my file is corrupted and I suspect the problem has more to do
with my system than with Scribus as a whole.
Maybe some people can share some light about where it seems to hang exactly.
I ran an strace while it was starting and this is where it hangs :

This seems related to a Garamond font I use extensively in the document, but I
don't understand why it would sometimes work and sometimes don't.
Thanks for any insight (and for this remarkable software Scribus).
Best regards,
