The full instructions are on docs.scribus.net under installation. If you
want to use a tarball, then you will get 1.3.3.9 or 1.3.4 where autotools is
still available. If you want to use a copy from subversion then:
a) dont gunzip, but svn checkout, as per the docs, with the version you
would like to use
b) dont run configure, run cmake, as per the docs
c) run make
d) run make install
