Hehe, you are right, this was really a stupid one ... I intended to say,
that these questions, regarding paths, required libraries etc. are
always appearing when the software circle comes to the next step. My
OpenSuse 10.2 is now some months old, still actual enough for compiling
and installing stable versions of software, but not longer actual enough
for using developer branches.
So, after installing some additional libs (like QT), adding paths,
changing symlinks, the system will be more up-to-date, but has left the
paths the distributor has defined. This normally ends up in a confused
system and a new version of the distribution is needed .. ;-)
