[Scribus] How to edit text on path?

I've tried that. It works if your text is short. Mine isn't. You have to 
keep notes on what changes you made to each letter, then, go into the 
story editor, make changes, then go back out to check the results. Repeat 
this many times for each letter. Sometimes the changes do not do anything.
