Hello! I'm getting back into journalism as an adviser for a high school newspaper. We are using Scribus, but my big fret at the moment is that when I wrote in college, everything was already set up for me. I am trying to create a couple of templates, and the one thing that I am really needing is the ability to save certain fonts/styles for certain parts of the layout.
For example, if I want to start writing an article, I can click "body text" and the font and style will change to one that has been preset. This option really helps with uniformity throughout the paper. I don't know if I want to call this little tool a "style palette" or what, but please tell me this is an option!?!
I've introduced myself to the scrapbook, but I just want to save styles, not entire text/pic boxes. Also, I'm not thoroughly knowledgable about the ins and outs of Scribus, so if you have an idea, could you give me directions to get there? (girls are very good at asking for directions!!!)
Thanks- Kari
