[Scribus] Anyone else seen this benchmark?

If anything the Windows builds seem to be faster. I suspect the issue
you're running into is text reflow - I presume your 10 pages have a
decent sized body of text flowed through frames on most of those pages?

Series of linked text frames can be quite slow at the moment. That's due
to the fact that for historical reasons the text reflow is actually
bound up in the redraw code. That issue will be going away for 1.4, but
AFAIK isn't fixable for 1.3.3.x .
