I agree with the corrections listed, but let me mention one more thing. 
In the sentence:
"Unlike proprietary binary file formats, even damaged documents can be 
recovered with a simple text editor - sometimes ..." use an "n-dash" 
character instead of the hyphen between the words "editor" and "sometimes".

Absolutely agree. It is psychology. In a flyer promoting a page layout 
program intended for professional use, you *must* conform to the time 
honored typographical conventions, otherwise you lose credibility. 
(Those conventions are important and good, by the way. Keeping them 
makes reading easier, and makes your work more pleasing to the eye.)
