Hi Johannes,

Please read the Wiki article again. It is still the best way to create lists 
with bullets, since this not a feature of paragraph styles yet.

In short, don't use a fill char, use the search and replace solution described 
in the Wiki. You can also use the German version if you have problems 
understanding the English one:
