Indeed. The trick is not to File -> Import, but to use [context menu] ->
Get Text....
It appears that Get Text and Append Text have been added to the Import
menu in 1.2.3 (and, presumably, 1.3x also). You need to have your text
frame selected when you do this, though.
Append Text looks tasty to me. I tend to write different chapters and
major sections in multiple files. I am going to like that. :)
