| Out of interest, how much memory, which distro and which versions of Qt
| and gcc are you using?

I managed to work on the file, thanks to the fix provided.
I am using Slackware 10.0, QT-3.3.3, gcc-3.3.4 (all installed from
Slackware packages). At work I have 512MB RAM, at home only 256MB. Both
computer run either Intel Celeron or Pentium-III, on 600 or 700MHz.

I will apply the fix on my machine at work, and see if I can open the
original file. What I did yesterday at home was moving all images to a
different place, which allowed me to open the file again. I then scaled
the images and reduced them to 100dpi. This (and the fix) allowed me to
work on the file, to finish it, and to do PDF export as well as printing.
As I have the original file at work, I will just apply the fix and try
to open the file. I will then report if it works.

Andreas
