[Scribus] Help: Scribus crashes with signal #6 on file opening (again)

Hi all,
I now have a finished project (well, can't make it better as I can't open
the file any more), but it crashed when I tried to print to file. When I try
to open, I get "Scribus crashes with signal #6" - I assume still the same
problem.
Luckily, I did "collect for output" before trying to print (and didn't try
PDF export yet either), so I have all files and fonts.

I uploaded a tarball with all files at
http://wri-irg.org/pdf/EritreaDocumentation.tar.gz .

I would very much appreciate if someone could help and turn this into a PDF.
No CMYK separation needed (images are RGB or greyscale anyway), but font
embedding could be useful. I urgently need the file, and I can't do anything
anymore...

I have the impression that Scribus somehow eats all your system resources on
opening a file. Why is that?

Andreas
