[Scribus] Hyphenation bug?

Hi everybody,

I have some troubles with scribus' hyphenation.

I tried to add smart hyphens with [ctrl]+ [-] in the story editor after 
automatic hyphenation was executed. What happened was exactly ... 
nothing. Wrong/missing hyphenations were still there.

After executing automatic hyphenation again, all text in the frames 
disappeared.

Did I something wrong or is this part of scribus still under construction?

I'm working with scribus 1.2.1
