I have built Scribus-Aqua successfully, and will start playing with it soon.

I'd like to contribute something to this effort. I'm going to
investigate getting .sla files associated with the Scribus.app package
so that they launch/open when double-clicked. This is the main benefit
of the AquaScribus launcher for Scribus-Fink-X11 that I developed last
year: it associates Scribus .sla files with an icon, and launches and
opens the files just by double-clicking. That's easily done by editing
the info.plist file. If I recall correctly, Qt/Mac doesn't support this
very well, but I'm going to see if I can come up with a solution (even
if it's just repackaging my AquaScribus tool). I'll keep everyone posted.
