i'm not a developer - just a user. but i would say that could be a great
boon to the linux crowd. a specific distro geared for DTP! you could
install choice fonts, art, tools, etc. 

i'd say make sure you pay attention to graphics and also it sure would
be nice to have color management (something that seems to elude most of
us) installed by default.
