[Scribus] Bug in calendar script: python is the reason

I tried the script, but it produces this error message:

UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\xe4' in 
position 1: ordinal not in range(128)

Yes, it's 2.3 on a Suse 9.1
