[Scribus] Drop Shadow...

Hello all,

After having looked around, I have seen that the ability to add a drop shadow to objects has been requested. Thats great and I hope it makes it in there one day. But until then....

I have an object that I created (closed bezier curve with a color gradient inside) that I created in scribus. I would like to add a drop shadow to it as painlessly as possible, but I would prefer not to convert it to a bitmap as the gimp would require.

Is there any svg program that would allow me to painlessly achieve my goal?
