Hi Paul,

Great work on both counts.

Please let us know when it it is finished.

Though that day gets nearer and nearer. If you have not, look at
Inkscape. I think it is very promising and they have a very well
organized project. The GIMP 2.0 has vastly better path tools.. neither
are replacements for Illy, but at the very least there is steady
progress here.

Inkscape also runs very well on Win32, by the way. Expect an 0.37
release within days.

Just the bottom layer ended up on the top. Once I opened it in
Illustrator or Inkscape it was a trivial fix.

Whenever logos like this are made, it is always helpful to have either
EPS and or SVG. I was able to import it into Scribus and make a nice 11"
x 17" sized poster printed on a Hi-res color laser printer - looked
beautiful.

<rant> I curse every time I have to work with that kindergarden
cartoonish UI</rant>

And I congratulate you for your good taste :-) It is a classy design in
my opinion.

It would be really appreciated if you could you include a GPL or
suitable license with your copyright. Plus, we do like recognize
contributions where ever possible.

Thanks again,
