Frankly, do all this people asking for anon cvs need
it at all? While there is a "Daily CVS Snapshot", one
of the best and "best hidden" features on the Scribus
website? As long as these daily snapshots work well
(and they do, judging by my experience, daily at 4
am), I for myself don't need anon cvs anymore.

Simply click on Download on the Scribus website and
head for "Daily CVS Source SnapShot" section:


What would help in any case, is to point people more
prominently to use this feature instead of anon cvs in
various places (translation howto
, installation howto
, Scribus FAQ
, etc.)
