[Scribus] Problem with printing images

If I export my document to pdf, the transparent parts of the images are not
fully transparent... (this happens only if I print the PDF. On screen they
look fine...)

Printer here is a Epson AcuLaser C1900 which is supports Adobe PostScript3.
(If I try to print as PostScript Level 2, the printer does nothing...)

Supported emulations are: LJ4, GL2, ESC/Page-Color, ESCP2, FX, I239X, Adobe
