[Scribus] Working with Scribus when Gimp is still open ?

No, due to 2 facts:
1) fam ist buggy (in my opinion)
2) testing for file change within a programm more easy and effective
    as using external utilities.
The Problem is that under certain conditions scribus will not do what
the user expect (for example, update was called by inadvertance and
the gimp picture window was closed without saving, the user don't remember
how the file reside and under which name).
