[Scribus] directories

I compile scribus on SuSE 8.1 gcc 3.2 without problems. This is better than
before! I do not recommend rpm because SuSE has a grisly YAST system for rpm
and there are a ton of updates and bug fixes. I compile by the way WITHOUT
the need any longer! for
--with-qt=/usr/lib <etc>
Nevertheless for some idiosyncratic reason I used
--bindir=/home/myself/bin
Now if I revert to default I get
--bash: home/myself/bin/scribus not found
Ok maybe I can rework the $PATH or use a symlink or simply return to my
first use but this problem exists also in other stuff I have compiled
manually. bash seems to know where the binary first resided and it does not
give up.

Allow me to congratulate you on your second birth day! The measurements
palette especially is very good! Font additional folders is good! It does
give QUARK a run! Does Quark export to pdf? I don't think so not without a
plug in that depends on distiller being present
