We used to have an IRC bot ("mrscribe"), but it had been operated by malex. As others have already mentioned, Alex has been AWOL for some time. Having been in a similar situation after a heavy accident and barely escaping paraplegia, I hope he'll be back in full force soon, developments in Ukraine notwithstanding.
