.... well, myself,...
My name is Samps
I've used Scribus on Linux for a number of years and tend to live life at
the bleeding edge of the latest SVN version, so.... not a DTP professional.
I used to be. Worked as a lithographic printer for several years and as a
serigraphic printer for a year. This was back when DTP was in its infancy
but the underlying theories still hold true.
I've joined the Scribus-dev list because I have an interest in packaging
into .MSI (on a fairly regular basis) of the SVN trunk version, as well as
the release version. Therefore I need to work out how to compile from
source and thought this forum would be *the* place to hang out while
gleaning info on such matters.
I'm not asking to get spoon-fed. I am used to doing my own research. I just
want to have the reassurance of there being someone, who have already done
this, to steer me in the right direction occasionally.
Scuse my english. I'm a Danish expat, still learning, and loving it.
Samps
