yep, that part of the text handling is also broken.

the role of the text tool in the document setup is not clearly defined.

if you change the formatting of the text tool in the preferences, what
you get is the formatting that will be used to define the "Default
style" in the newly created document.

what should we have in the document setup? in my eyes only a drop down
where you can select which style will be applied to the newly created
frames.

everything more is just a duplicated effort :-)

what do you think about it?
i think that it would be quite easy to change that...
