I was noticing this poppler feedback the other day also.
With this version issue, I may just wait until Fedora catches up 
(currently 0.16.7), but one surprising thing was that when I did 'yum 
list poppler*', this list came out:

poppler.x86_64
poppler-devel.x86_64
poppler-data.noarch
poppler-glib.x86_64
poppler-glib-devel.x86_64
poppler-qt.x86_64
poppler-qt-devel.x86_64
poppler-utils.x86_64
poppler-cpp.x86_64
poppler-cpp-devel.x86_64

I presume I need poppler and poppler-devel, but how many of these do I need?
