[scribus-dev] Master pages

Hello,

I recently used Scribus from SVN ("1.5.0") to publish two books, and
it was pretty usable, however I missed a way to avoid creating
multiple, very similar Master Pages for each chapter, eg. when I
wanted a text at the top of a page indicating which chapter that page
belongs to.

I know you have throughoutly discussed the "editable Master Pages",
and someone proposed the quick fix that I also opt for, but as I
recall no-one did take it seriously. What I'm talking about is the
following solution:

Allow the user to create tables, like:
| pages | value |
| 1-10 | Title 1 |
| 11-30 | Title 2 |
(as a start, it could just be the already existing "chapters" table)

Then, on a Master Page, allow the user to insert a special character
that on every page would be replaced by an appropriate string from the
table, depending on current page number.

Hope this get's your attention, as it is very easy to implement, at
least in the version that only allows using the one "chapters" table.

I know my English isn't TOO enlightening, I'm learning!
